First off, we want to wish all those mothers out there a Happy Mother’s Day today from Post 1760 members!
Yesterday (Saturday, May 7th 2016) we had our District 4 meeting at the VFW Post 3632 (Tempe). Part of the proceedings was the Buddy Poppy Display contest with the winner to participate at the VFW State Convention representing District 4. We’re happy to announce our own Auxiliary won first place!
Much appreciation goes out to Auxiliary member Angela Donkers for putting it together with help from Post member Dave Donkers! We look forward to seeing the display at this year’s State Convention!
On another note, we have representation from our Post 1760 for District officers. For the Auxiliary at the District level, Congratulations to Barbara Zurcher for Distict 4 Auxiliary Conductress, Angela Donkers for Guard, and Kristi Kellogg as Trustee (3rd). For Post 1760 membership Dan Wilson was re-elected as District 4 Judge Advocate.
