Each year VFW Post 1760 participates in a Remembrance program with the American Legion Post 26East Valley Disabled American Veterans Chapter 8, Daughters of the American Revolution and all their respective Auxiliaries. This is held at the City of Mesa Cemetery on Memorial Day. The organizations involved with the ceremony rotate the running of the Remembrance program each year.

Volunteers are needed every year in both putting out and collecting the flags on veteran headstones at the cemetery. These activities are conducted on the Saturday morning before Memorial Day for putting out flags, and Monday evening for collection of flags. If you'd like to help volunteer please contact us.

In addition to the Memorial services, Post 1760's establishment is open to the public. This is one of two available days each year that the public is free to visit the building (the other being Veterans Day).
