So finally after 2+ years of research and gathering of information the Mesa VFW Post 1760 on Sunday, June 1st released online our new website. The main goal with the website is if at any time there is a question concerning the VFW and/or Post 1760, the answer would be “go to the website”, to be a number one resource for both VFW members, Auxiliary members and the public in general. We’d like to think we accomplished that with our new release of the website.
A more user friendly, and more importantly spam restrictive contact form has been put in place on our contact page.
MesaVFW.org development had been put on hold in previous months but now is back to being worked on. My apologies for the delay as many of you have been anxious to have a presentable online presence for Post 1760. When this website was first put together it was pretty much a ‘rush job’ to have something for the VFW National website contest in April.
As a part of that development process, we will have to take a step back in regards to the look of the website being broken down into essentials before taking the bigger step forward in visual representation and added functionality. This allows for us to put online news and information with current events for VFW Post 1760 while I continue work with the new website for MesaVFW.org.
Thanks to our Post and Auxiliary members for their patience, and to Bob Laubinger for his voluntary assistance with providing media and support for the website as well. If anyone else is interested in contributing with submitting news and updating our Post online calendar, by all means drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
