Medical Equipment

Post 1760 does receive donated medical equipment, as well loans out to those veterans and veteran family members in need. Currently there is ample supply of most equipment to help with most medical needs. The following are highlighted items available for loan:

Wheel chairs
Walkers
Motorized Scooter (currently one available)
Walking boots
Shower chairs
Canes
Crutches
Wheelchair trailer hitch (apparatus that mounts to your trailer hitch that supports a wheelchair)

Requirements for all equipment is proof of being a veteran (i.e. member of the VFW or any veteran organization, military ID, etc.) and current contact information, with the exception of the Scooters.

For those wanting to borrow a motorized scooter, additional requirements include a deposit and/or membership with the VFW. This is due to the given high dollar value of these machines.

For those wanting to donate, we thank you. All equipment is inspected before being received. Any run-down or non-usable medical equipment will be turned away.
