Much appreciation to those volunteers that were able to participate today in getting the flags posted out with veteran headstones at the City of Mesa Cemetery. Representatives from both VFW Post 1760, the American Legion Post 26 and the East Valley Young Marines were out canvasing the field.
Also we want to give a big thanks to Lenart's Ace Hardware for their annual donations of US American flags as those donations came in handy this year getting them out.
As a reminder the Memorial Day ceremony will be held this Monday at 10:00am, and at 4:00pm we'll need volunteers to help pick up the flags up.
Every year there is an open invitation and whole hearted welcoming to all those veterans, veteran family members, friends, and any non-profit (or for-profit) organizations to participate in Memorial Day weekend activities at the Mesa Cemetery.
